The RORA raffle is a fun and interactive way to use your RORA tokens to participate in a fair and randomly drawn competition, every week.
Everyone has a fair chance to win in the raffle, whether you have 1 ticket or 1000.
How the raffle works:
The raffle will start every Sunday at 7pm UTC
Tickets can be purchased with RORA tokens
$1 in RORA = 1 ticket
There is NO limit to the amount of tickets you can purchase
At the end of the time frame, the raffle is drawn randomly using Chainlink
For each raffle, there are 11 total winners
1 winner wins 50% of the total prize pool
10 winners win 25% of the total prize pool
20% of the prize pool is burned forever
5% of the prize pool goes to the RORA treasury

Winners are determined by random selection, underpinned by Chainlink VRF’s provably fair RNG. Taking into account how many tickets each person has purchased. More tickets = higher chances to win. Chainlink VRF
Chainlink VRF works by combining block data that is still unknown when the request is made with the oracle node’s pre-committed private key to generate both a random number and a cryptographic proof. The Rora Realm smart contract will only accept the random number input if it has a valid cryptographic proof, and the cryptographic proof can only be generated if the VRF process is tamper-proof. This helps provide users with automated and publicly verifiable proof directly on-chain that each raffle winner selected is done by using Chainlink VRF for randomness is provably fair and cannot be tampered with or predicted by the oracle, outside entities, or the Rora Realm team.
Chainlink Keepers
Rora Realm has also integrated Chainlink Keepers into our raffle system to help automate the draw process to execute at the same time every week.
